Friends and businesses who support the theatre
Due to the ongoing circumstances involving the Coronavirus crisis and to safeguard the public, RCT has made the decision to suspend our 2020 family summer musical, Sound of Music, until the summer of 2021. All prepaid participation fees will be reimbursed.
We regret having to make this decision but believe there are too many variables that we cannot control at this time.
We express a big thank you to all of those who prepared tirelessly on vocals and dance auditions. The talent was spectacular which is one of the reasons this decision has been so hard. We would have had a terrific cast, orchestra and production team. We hope that you will all just fast forward a year and we will see you next summer with the same enthusiasm.
We look forward to our holiday production of “A Christmas Carol” this fall. Please follow the RCT website for updates and audition information.
We appreciate your patience as we work through this together. We hope to see all of our RCT family back in the near future, healthy, safe and ready to put your hands together as we celebrate life and the many talents of our community.
A tuneful, heartwarming story, it is based on the real life story of the Von Trapp Family singers, one of the world's best-known concert groups in the era immediately preceding World War II.
